If the links are bad google will de-index those pages on its own anyway.

disavow for "spam" links is 2015 mentality . google ignores classic spam automatically .

the only real reason to prune links in '25 is to fix Topic Dilution .

if u have a crypto site but ur backlink profile is 80% mommy blogs (from cheap pbn) or adult stuff , ur semantic vector gets blurry . google gets confused about ur entity category .

pruning those "off-topic" links (even if high DA) sharpens the topical relevance . try removing non-relevant but "clean" links , watch rankings jump . spam doesnt matter , relevance does .
