I have been using SeNukeX for 6 months now and i achieved good rankings using it. But after the latest panda update i my rankings dropped drastically. So is it less effictive now due to the update?

Panda is about onsite while penguin is about offsite.

Many people don't get this.

To answer your question, a lot of people are seeing good results..it's jjust matter of using it correctly.

Not really. SEN is just a tool — and now, with the ability to add your own sites, a tool that can be dictated totally by you — and it depends on how you use it.

There are few tools that will directly result in an impact... of course, if you blast thousands of article directories all with a footprint, there will some sort of an impact down the road.

Probably not - but no where near enough information to tell.

Rankings have been in flux for the past 3 weeks with some huge changes. The guys at SEOmetrics haven't seen this many changes in such a short time since Google introduced "Caffeine" update. It will settle.
As for the effect of a linking tool like Nukel?
Depends on your site and how you use the tool.
The question as you ask it is not one that is possible to answer
If anyone tries to give a detailed answer for OR against your supposition based on the on the information you've given - then they haven't got a clue about SEO.

Scritty

[edit] I note that to this point, none of the excellent answers to your question have tried to extrapolate the effect of nuke on your rankings. They are all good answers as far as I'm concerned.
