Has it become impossible to get massive views on long form content in new channels?

I find it very hard to get subscribers on my new channels with only long form content. But short videos channels are growing fast. Are you also facing the same problem and what is the solution?

The solution is follow the traffic.

As someone who likes long form content and isn't a big TikTok fan, I don't find that answer very satisfying though.

As a user, a lot of YTers I follow are posting more shorts, which bugs me. But I'm clearly in the minority.

That very difficult to achieve, especially for a faceless channel.

People is getting used to shorts format videos, first instagram, tiktok, facebook and now youtube, they want fast entertaiment I prefer regular videos long format 15 minutes 30 minutes 2 hours depending on the type of video.

Shorts blow.. i saw few gettin over 100-400k subs ins 2-4 weeks..and millions of views and they are like basicly slifeshowing images on shorts and thats it.. no logic no sense but seems some luck and ppl like that.. unreal how some grow so fast.. there is also a chan with slifeshwling some content like images only old for 2-3 months and alrsy over 100mil views and 2mil subs unreall.. just when i try to copy that and even improve since it works i dont get nearly like them lol.. sad life . Nut yea i d say ppl prefer nowdays shorts pe tiktok stuff tjen long form sadly

My channel is 4 months old and getting 100k+ views per video on longform. Last video is at 200k and growing so it's possible.

21 videos right now but a lot of them were lazy. I started putting in more work and making the last couple videos longer and they are doing very well.
