I had a website that was making over $1000/mo just from adsense, at its peak a few years ago. Life got in the way, and I neglected the site.
Recently I thought I'd brush it up, update the design, add SSL, make it mobile-friendly, all the nice things you're supposed to do.
As soon as the modern design went live, it tanked in the search rankings.
And then a few days later, my application for adsense ads was rejected, they said the site doesn't meet quality standards.
This is the exact same site, I literally just changed the theme. Has anyone experienced something similar?
