for the last 2 hours I have been trying to use google and yahoo with no luck at all just getting the firefox cannot fine the server etc

I can get every other site I want just not the search engines\

Anyone else having these issues?

Working just fine here.

Not that it matters because in one location there might be some outages.

well timmey I can assure you its down here at the moment, can use every other sites but not the search engines

It is working fine for me. May be temporary down in your country for some maintenance

• Check your hosts file is correct
• Try checking your DNS settings or try using http://www.opendns.com/
• Try clearing your cache and restarting you computer AND router.

does google actually go down?

I find that hard to believe, those greedy asses wouldnt allow such a thing.
hell one hour down time might cost someone their house payment or something.
Lord forbid if they could handle loosing a dime, they would have to let that loss bleed onto some poor adscence guys profits.

If you can't open Google website, firstly you must check your computer settings then your country ISP.

This happens seldom here too. I try bing at times like these and it works. But this issue is temporary as i have seen it. Try reconnecting to your internet or try a proxy to reach the site. Also mobile sites can be opened too

Went down for me last week for a few hours. Maybe they are doing maintenance at your isp or something that's causing it.
