I have noticed that groups and community discussions can sometimes feel more active than page posts.

It seems like people enjoy having a place where they can actually participate.

seems obvious to me, but pages can do well too if you have good content. managing a group is also a lot of work if you want to keep it high quality compared to curating quality content for pages

I have noticed the same. Groups usually get more comments because people feel like they are actually talking to each other instead of just seeing another post. I have seen groups where even simple posts get way more comments than the page itself

Totally agree, I have found groups get much more engagement than pages. Especially when people can share their own experiences and talk to each other. Pages can get decent reach but still have barely any comments

I think it’s more about the content and the topic itself. If it’s interesting enough to spark debate or make people want to share their opinion, people will engage
Groups just naturally create a stronger sense of participation and community

I think there's definitely a difference. Groups can encourage more conversation because members can easily participate & share their experience. Pages are still useful for updates but community often make discussions feel more active & personal

people like groups more because they can actually talk and join discussion. pages can still work but most time it feels more like one way posting

Yaa, I've noticed that too. groups often feel more active since people can join discussions, share experiences, and actually interact with each other.

I still think it’s best to keep both pages and groups active at the same time, as they serve different purposes. Pages are usually a place to connect with people who are interested in you or your brand, mainly for business and monetization purposes. Communities, on the other hand, are more about bringing together people with shared interests who want to interact and share their personal opinions.

Naturally, the primary purpose of forums and groups is to discuss topics of mutual interest to the target audience, whereas individual posts typically reflect only the personal views of the author.

That makes a lot of sense, depending on the field you intend to enter; these communities serve as hubs where individuals with shared goals exchange information and data. However, to operate effectively, you still need to invest in high-quality content.

Yeah, groups feel more active because people can actually join the conversation. Pages still work, but communities usually get more real engagement.

Yeah in my opinion is the same; communities if managed well are more active than page posts.

I think pages are better for broadcasting while groups are better for building actual relationships.

Absolutely This is one of the major advantage of communities over pages. Joining communities makes a solid sense of connections. In Communities someone of them posts and others respond to him and everyone give their suggestion to him this feels like they are part of something like working on problem as a team. So that's why people love to join communities and share their problems to get solution and also love to discuss on others problems to find the solution.

for me pages are more like the front door now… groups are where people actually stay, talk and come back
