Has April Website traffic been absolutely bad for Tech Websites?

Yeah, I've noticed the same across a few of the tech sites i manage. Traffic dipped mid-April and hasn't quite bounced back yet. could be part of another algorithm shift. Google's been quietly tweaking things lately. Hoping it’s just temporary, but keeping an eye on GSC and checking for crawl/indexing changes too.

If the tech sites were mainly receiving traffic through informational searches (how to's and such) then they've probably been hit by AI Overviews leeching their clicks.

Traffic has gone down. I assume this is due to AI search results for us whom depend on search traffic. If this dip continues, then we might be forced to go other traffic sources.

4 of my sites recovered during this update. I did nothing. I had traffic hit almost 0 from 10-15 per day. Now it's back at 10.

These are basic sites on TLDs like . online, .xyz, .sbs and one .com

I use 100% AI content without human edits. One is a tech blog with basic articles focusing on low KD and low traffic keywords.
