What did you think of the movie?

Here's a trailer for those of you that haven't seen it.

I haven't but the trailer is excellent. I want to watch it now.

I have. Well... enjoyed it, but I am a finance freak. I think that 'common' man ;) may get totally bored watching it. This is merely hardcore economics focused movie, not sensational stuff. Yes... when watching the teaser expected something of "Die Hard" style too...

I personally enjoyed the movie, but I expected something more. I think that the movie is good but overrated.

I've seen it a few times. It's not up there with "Boiler Room" which is in my top five but it was good.
My favorite part is when I think they are on the roof and the guy breaks down how he spent his humongous salary.

Movies like that, Wall Street (1 & 2), The Family Man, Boiler Room...all get me going. Wait until "The wolf of Wall Street" comes out in November. I've read that book 4 times and now that Sorcese and Dicaprio are doing the story it will certainly be added to the list.

It 's just a dramatized story of the time the bubble burst.

thanks ! , just what I was looking for, something to kill time, downloading and later I'll watch it

I've just watched Boiler Room and I must say it's a much better movie. Definitely recommend it to those that haven't seen it.

It was very good, Jeremy Irons, who is a great actor, plays the perfect monster rationalizing all of his dirty moves along the way.

I'm going to check it out, along with Boiler Room, which was mentioned a few replies up. I wonder if they will be able to compete with 1983's Risky Business...

Wow, I have no idea how I've never heard of this movie. I love movies like this, I hope it's on Netflix or directv. It's got some pretty good actors in it also. I was looking for some movies like this recently but the one I found kind of sucked. I think it was called Wall Street-Money never dies, or something like that. It's a sequel to an 80s movie. Everyone says the original is awesome though. Anyway, I can't wait to watch this one.
