A few clients of mine have verified their places listings a month ago and for some reason they do not show in search with the new google maps. They only show on old google maps which is weird. Any input anyone?

but are u sure that your new listing is showing on new Google maps when you search? I heard this is happening to all new listings but most owners don't bother to check if listing will show.

yeah usually once the post card verification is done, that is pretty much it and you can find them on maps.

I experienced this same issue with a restaurant I designed a site for recently. The postcard was the trick for them as well. I placed countless queries to Google and read and re-read all forms and information. Once the postcard verified their site.....(Poof)......it appeared!

If your maps page does not have a description about the businesses, sometimes Google will not display the page either.

If the listing is verified, ideally it should show in the results.
If the listing still doesn't appear, it is suggested to create a new listings and claim it rather than contacting Google. If you need help in your listings to be verified PM me.

It's a good question because I have seen very strange results, yet I did experiment. But a 'no show' is much better than a 'disabled' :(
