Has Anyone Used VoltRank?

Well volt rank or not, my site is doing very well for its main keywords since using it.

One thing though is some of my links don't appear where it says they are and also it often puts my link on the same domain many times which I don't like.

Other than this I think its doing pretty good for a nice consistent income of backlinks though, definately worth it if you have other domains lying around you dont mind earning you your volts! Yet to see my webmaster tools show them all.

It works. All my Sites that I have in Voltrank got a higher Pagerank on the last update.
They have done some more changes and now they allow you to add Sites without unique Content again. There is more info about this on their Forum.

Everything is perfect. I wish they had more international members though, because my german Sites are almost only placed on english Sites. This would change if more People would sign up.

This is my first post. I have been using Voltrank for 2 months.

To the bottom line, first. My 4 month old website homepage is now a PR2. I am a U.S. citizen and just started a modest web design business in Mexico. I established it April, 2011, just a few weeks before a Google Update. I have used direct contact, Link2Me and Voltrank. I hate direct contact, though my best links were from this method. It's slow, frustrating and time-consuming. Link2Me works OK, though it should work much better with a little PR. (Link2Me is a free, direct exchange network.)

Voltrank has loaded me up with several hundred mostly useless links. Few, if any, are on my Yahoo backlink list. Again, that may be because my home page was a PR0, and most of my other pages were not even ranked. I have sent Voltrank several emails over my 3 months with them. All were thoughtfully answered within 2 working days. My last email was last week, after being awarded my PR2. I expressed concern about the low quality websites that enjoyed outbound links from my website. Their reply basically said that they had helped me get to this level (PR2) by trading links with other unranked websites. Now, links would be better because I was giving them more to work with.

My Alexa rank went from nothing to about 5,000,000 to my current rank of 2,600,000. I am happy going from a PR0 to a PR2.

It's not broken, and I'm not going to fix it. I will give Voltrank another 3 months until the next Google Update. Does anyone know if popular websites use Voltrank, or is it a network of unranked, PR0 and PR1 sites? Even though I could be considered a success story by Voltrank, I am still highly skeptical.
 
As a newbie website owner, I am terrifed of doing anything that will get me in trouble with google or my affiliate links. I've been slowly building traffic through traditional SEO methods.. soooo slow, not much success. Would love to find a way to build rank without spending a fortune, but still not sure about using Voltrank. Guess I'll stay tuned

But its nothing like an autosurf so Im not sure what the guy above me is on about
You basically include a php code, the php code itself is part of their API which fetches what is supposed to be relevant links to your site. These links are fully indexable and crawlable (not sure if nofollow or ******** though). The more pages the code is included in, the more points generated. It is no different than including someones external link on your page (bad SEO, but you get backlinks in return).

Thanks, Marcink99....I think.... Yes, I did join just to respond. I got an auto-email because I am subscribed to this thread. I hope to return often and learn more.

I quit Voltrank. My dashboard told me I had 52,733,497 links. (An exaggeration, but it was an awesome number.) However, I wanted to know these links were actually helping me. I used Yahoo! site explorer, and traced every single link and found....4 inbound links. There was one PR2, one PR1 and two PR0. There were 5 links off my home page alone, which is a PR2. I am not an SEO expert, but I figured that just from my home page alone I was not getting an equal exchange. My site (which is for my little web design business) has over 80 pages. All were littered with Voltrank links to crappy websites. None had anything to do with my web design business. If it were money instead of "link juice", I'd be bleeding red ink.

My understanding of how SEO works is pretty low, but I think Voltrank was doing more harm than good. Most of my internal pages are either PR1 or a true PR0 (not a gray bar) on the Google toolbar. All my pages show up in the Yahoo! Site Explorer. There were several hundred outbound Voltrank links. Voltrank may be good for a certain level of new website. However, once you are established and ranked, it is my conclusion they are worthless, if not harmful.

BTW, the Voltrank people are excellent. They helped me uninstall the software within a day. They were courteous and gracious. My opinion? Voltrank is a good idea with the wrong people participating.

Since I've had numerous fits & starts with SEO/online marketing over the past 18 months, I'm giving VR a try while getting up to speed on traditional methods. Might as well see for myself with the hit & miss reviews.

PR1 site in a rapidly growing niche, with 100+ high quality content articles and ~25 uniques/day. Site approved within two days, but had to resubmit ad links (initially categorized under standard class, should've been prime class).

So far, showing 6 ads each published 2x daily - this is the status:

If anyone has any suggestions as to what I would be watching, I'd be glad for the pointers.
 
I just started using VoltRank and so far it seems to be working pretty good.

I have a couple of autoblogs that had a lot of pages indexed (one domain pr2 and other pr0) so I threw those on the network to get points (Volts) and got a decent amount.

Next I created a few ads trying to SEO a keyword rich blogpost that is over 1 year old (basically I got screwed over by an agent and came across a blog post where someone was complaining abou that same agent. So I am doing SEO on that blog post to get it to rank high for that Agent's name, and company name).

So the keywords are not very competitive that I am going after, and the page I am doing SEO has already been around a while. Results so far have been good. In about 3 days time there has been a SERP jump from spot 6 to spot 3 with just a few hundred links from VoltRank. I am hoping to take the #1 spot for the keywords in a few weeks. If that happens, then I will be impressed.

My opinion on VoltRank is, dont install it on any websites that are important, just in case google sees the footprint and bans the website, and be careful if you are using it to seo a money site. However, it definately has potential to help boost up other links in a link wheel.
 
I wanted to give a quick update to my previous post... I reached #1 postition with one group of keywords. So there is definately some link juice being passed with these links... once I get the rest of my keywords in the #1 spot I am going to try it on some more competitive keywords and i'll post my results.
