So I signed up for CleanFiles the other day which is a content locking network much like ShareCash. Everything seems to be going well, but I wasn't getting as many clicks as I thought I would.

So I took the bit.ly URL that is provided in the CleanFiles backend and added a "+" to the end of the URL. The bit.ly stats say that there have been 18 clicks in the past 3 days, while the CleanFiles stats say that there's only been 1.

Now I'm wondering if CleanFiles is scraping off the top or something. Would there be some other reason why this would be happening? And does anyone have experience with CleanFiles, if so can you share your experience? Thanks!

Well I just started using CF today. I'd hope they were disregarding some downloads. Ill just see how this goes for awhile and if I'm happy with the earnings ill stick it out.

What do you mean by "I'd hope they were disregarding some downloads"?

I have used them and their tracking system is somewhat delayed. I believe they have the best payouts though.

18 clicks on your bit.ly does not equal 18 users who clicks on your offers/download button.

Besides this, 18 clicks in 3 days is not what you're looking for when it comes with ppd.

So you're saying that the CleanFiles stats are only for the offers that are clicked when the popup comes up? If so, that would make sense.

And to address your second remark, I'm just starting to test this right now.

Exactly, if you use a download link, clicks will be registered IF someone clicks on an offer, or, if you use the widget, all clicks on the button will show up in your stats.

As people are landing on your page through bit.ly, not everyone will be motivated enough to click on the download button anymore (here you must improve).

you say you've got 18 clicks in bit.ly and only 3 are showing up.
You must not see clicks here here 18 clicks on bit.ly means 18 impressions, you must see inmpressions on CF
Clicks on CF means how many people clicked/opened the offer, and also only 1 click per ip is counted.

Hope this helps you somewhat.
i am CF user myself
