I have a website I am trying to rank and sell products. I thought maybe I can source from ebay and have the seller ship to the person who buys from my website. Have any of you done this? Any advice is appreciated.

Better you will ship items from Amazon. Because many people doing this. And now a days it is very profitable and interested stuff to people.

What items exactly? I prefer stocking items from Alibaba and then sell them on my website. More cost effective.

most go to amazon first because customer service and ship time is overall better from the buyers standpoint

Update - ordered some unbranded headphones from a china source site. Was going to drop them from the supplier to my eBay customer. Disaster, never received anything and got a bad review. Beware of some China sellers.

Hi, Drop shipping is always a risk because you are at the mercy of someone else doing what they promise. Your idea certainly has merit, and there are many great sellers on Ebay, so there is no reason it should not work. Initially, though, I would have the item shipped to you so you can check out the item quality and service.
