Has anyone successfully switched to Threads from X (Twitter)?

It might be a good idea to post similar posts on both, but I wouldn't recommend switching completely for many reasons, the first of which is that there are different audiences. It all depends on your goals. If this issue is not crucial one for you, then try publishing on both.

It seems to me that Twitter is more "dry" and professional. There are lots of people who position themselves as opinion leaders. Threads feels to me more "showy" and focused on gaining popularity through topics that aren't as typical for Twitter, like politics. In my opinion, it's about connecting on a different level.
