Has anyone successfully changed a page name on FB?

I recently changed my url to adapt my site to where the niche is headed long term and everything has gone well in terms of rebranding except Facebook who always decline my page name change requests as they thought it was deceptive (even though I made several posts about the change!). I even appealed over a week ago but heard no response.

I managed to change the name of one of my pages, but it was a very small change that just changed 2 letters out of a word. Maybe the more the name is changed, the more likely it is to be rejected?
 
Possibly. It's annoying because I am not changing the subject of the content or anything :/ Oh well, will just have to re-enable like jacker on my site with a new page!
 
I've changed the name of my business page and another business page's name for a client. If I recall correctly, the only thing that happened was that after the name change was approved, I lost those grey business verification badges. I only reapplied for my client's business. You can get the badge back by reapplying.
 
Oh right. Was that a large page? Mine isn't that large and it was just rejected within minutes (twice!). Seems like no one is reading the rejection appeal either.
 
I think it will only allow you if the name you will change only few letters or typo error on name.
 
There is a trick to changing a Facebook page name.

If the page name is too different you have to change it in steps:

Suppose you want to change name from "Instagram Tricks" to "Great Quote"

In first request Instagram Tricks => Instagram Tricks Great Quote

In second request Instagram Tricks Great Quote => Great Quote

It you do that each step will take less than 4hours.

I think it was facebook security update because I remembered last time I am able to change my page name to other, I tried again earlier and it seems not working.
 
YES i change my page name once and its not a problem for your fanspage.
