Apparently, you guys can get paid to socialize just like facebook or myspace. I think its sort of a pyramid scheme but im not sure. Does anyone have any blackhat ideas for this?

url is yuwie.com

Thanks

It's stupid. It's just a bunch of people who want to make money so the don't view your page so you don't get money. If you do, you won't get a lot. Not worth it unless your friends are doing it and you want to do it for fun.

I think it only counts views of logged in members, but I'm not sure. they're CPM sucks (it changes every month but it's always low)

seems like a waste of time in my opinion.. unless you get a bunch of people together.

frankly, its a waste of time. Everyone there wants to make money but noone wants to view any pages/

I tried the Yuwie thing for a few months, and let me tell you it was absolutely horrid. You only get paid for views of your profile. Now that wouldn't be so bad, except they have to be registered users. And can only view your profile a couple times a day and then it stops counting the hits. As well as other things they have included in their formula restricting things it's really a pain in the ass. I put everything I had into it for two months to test it out, and for the first month I made $0.10. The second month I made $0.20. So if you think you can scam their system, and hack their formula good luck, they put so many restictions on things it's not funny. And every click you do with them, there is a ad page that pops up on you, using a popunder so you have to click skip this ad, to get past it. Really the site is a pain in the ass. I stopped using it after the second month. Definitely not worth your time if you want to make any kind of money on the net. Just thought I'd share my two cents.

Cheers

k. thanks for the input. I just saw a random link from a fb page and wanted to know if u guys knew anythin about it.

A friend of mine did a marketing campaign with Yuwie, and just told me earlier tonight that he considers it a flop. He registered a domain that forwarded to his affiliate link to promote, and didn't even make enough to cover the cost of the domain. (not even close.)

Your these parts comment looks useful to me..very lucky that i did not join that website...big thanks to you laveciar.

These sites are a complete waste of time, imo, I just have to take one look at how they operate to see that.

Its always funny to see these types of sites. Had a good laugh on that person explaining a bull shit $10000000000000 forumla ;)

Yeah, everybody is right. That site is a waste of time. I am still on it but haven't logged in in a couple of months. Met a few cool people but no money in it. I even tried to use iMacro to get some views, but there are too many captchas and ads to click thru that stop it dead. Maybe you could make money if you stayed on all the time and never slept, and had like 1,000,000 people in your downline that did that too. :D IMO it is not even a great social network with everybody sluting around for views and trying to promote everything imaginable.

Saw this last year and felt it was a big pyramid scheme and now that I have read this thread I'm glad I didn't get on that train.

2 Thumbs down

Yuw!e just plain sucks! i registered sometime last year or at the end of 07 and havent been back on there for over 5 months..It really sucks!

Total waste of time, don't even take them as your last resort to make $$ online.
