Has anyone seen significant success in this approach?

    Hello all,

Just getting me feet wet in IM and have picked Clickbank as my source for products.

Admittedly, my approach to trying things is a bit unorthodox. Typically, I act first, then tweak and make changes after further research/due diligence. I often ask for forgiveness, not permission.

So, I set-up a site in the mental health niche and did my best to look like an authority. However, instead of promoting one product on my sales page, I have links to several programs/products and have given my customer a choice instead of suggesting they only choose one. Rule of thumb; is this overkill? To further clarify, I'm advertising seven products...

I'm looking for pros and cons to this approach. If I'm overanalyzing let me know.

    All the best,

    Awkwardpublic

    techotalk,

You may want to try and search the forum and Google for the answer as well. In case I don't receive an answer. If I find any information I'll post it here so you can see. People may not respond if they feel the question is remedial I've gathered.

So in a week or so I've made about 200 bucks. Nothing significant but it's something. Thus far I've used replies in Yahoo Answers, CL ads, some free ads, and a few forum posts to get the sales. Still unable to tell if offering a bunch of products to a customer seems to help or deter them. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I think in most cases, giving options help. It makes the buyer feel as though it is a decision between the options in front of them rather than a decision between buying and not buying.
