Has anyone on here started a Website/Blogging Empire?

I was just wondering how many of you have more than one niche of blogs or websites making money at one time, And how much time that has taken you?

I have a about 4 interests, and I want to make a business/website in each one. Any advice should i start with one niche first, then go on to the next?

How was your journey what was it like?

Focus all of your energy into one website at first.

Don't put 25% of your time/effort across 4 sites, put 100% of your time/effort into 1.

Read two books: "Rework" and "4 Hour Work Week". They are several years old by now, but worth it for someone just starting out. They are a breeze to get through.

You can learn by establishing a site with authority to then get into networking with your audience + brandable competitors.

Making too many websites in the beginning is a bit much to handle for starters so always keep your work load low and turn to more profitable advert options once they become available.

I read the 4 hour workweek, will read rework asap. Did you apply any of the outsourcing principles in 4 hour workweek, and to what success

No, I don't have a physical product or an informational product that would work well with 4 hour work week.

Right now I write and I am unwilling to outsource that.

The principals he offers are sound, though.

Rework is a good one. It's broken up into 1-3 page chapters and that makes it easy to digest. It's less "do this, then this" and more "have you thought about...".

Brandable competitors are opportunities within relevant sites which are large enough to be turned into value by contacting the owners and seeing if any exchanges can be made. ie. (Link exchanges, mentions or direct advertisement offers.)

Solid advice. Build one, recording the whole process and once it works, scale it out.
