I’ve seen some fluctuations across a few sites and wondering if others are experiencing the same, did Google quietly push an update?
Has anyone noticed changes with Google’s algorithm this month?

When did you notice the fluctuations? After 11th Sept, right? It is because Google has removed the 100 URLs parameter from the SERPs. Most of the bot traffic has been removed. That's why you have seen the drop in impressions but an increase in positions.

I’m not seeing any significant fluctuations on my client sites at the moment, only positive effects so far. While it’s common for some websites to experience minor ranking movements during the algorithm updates. You can wait for some more time and monitor the results.

Yes, I've noticed some ranking swings too. Looks like Google rolled out a quite update this month.
