Has Anyone Made Money Operating a TurnKey Websites?

As the title says "Has Anyone Made Money Operating a TurnKey Websites?"

I'm looking into this right now becuase I cannot be bothered to spend my time building my own website, this is not my forte. I am good at marketing, I just need a product and a TurnKey website may provide me just that.

Would be great to hear others experiences with this.

I bough a turnkey but only because of the custom code, and the domain name, anyway I believe that all those sold on ebay and wordpress based are crap and useless

so I bought alot of sites already done - some worked well - some worked just average - but over time every site Ive bought made money

I have few different niches I currently operate in but without a website, I feel if I got a website my sales would increase as I can give myself a bit of credibility.

Maybe a template would be a better option for myself - just thinking out loud :-s

Tim Gorman has a e-book out there called "The Six Figure Adsense Strategy" which (in order to achieve that level of income) he advocates building a farm of several hundred Adsense friendly sites, each earning a dollar or two a day. He strongly recommends using turnkey sites in order to speed up the set-up of the farm. So he's one person who does it.

It may be preferable to use brand new, "state of the art" turnkey sites (like those issued monthly from membership sites) that finesse the footprint, dupe content and other current SEO issues, rather than rely on kits that have been out there on the web for ages. It may also pay to tweak any turnkey site you use with revised graphics and article content, so it doesn't look like a carbon copy of others in use.

It's better to get a non turnkey site, maybe some sites on sale at DP which are unique and cheap. Probably not making money, because they lack expertise in marketing. That is where u come in.
