I would like to hear about it from people who already sold an ebook. if you sold it please say how have you done it.

my audience is growing really slowly but its growing. i just dont know if they will buy my ebook. maybe not?

No harm in trying. If the content is unique, and a user can learn something from it, then it's definitely worth doing.

I have sold a gambling ebook in the past and I made about 7k in about 3 weeks.

If your book is good I would recommend one thing for you to do.

Contact as many bloggers or reviewers as you can and get them to review it and promote it as an affiliate.

I had a pretty profitable system and luckily had one site trial it, post the results and then send a blast to their 21k email list.

I also had a load of other sites promoting it on review posts.

I've never done it myself. But you could potentially make the ebook have the illusion of scarcity. Like giving free copies to the first 10 people or so and then selling outright right after that anything with competition and a little bit of free stuff is a good springboard to start off some sales. Have fun with it see what works

give the first chapters for free in an exchange for an email.

make sure the content is superb.

link the remaining chapters. (checkout link)

remind them of the remaining chapters with an email, and ask their opinion.

also, send traffic to try out the chain I described above with paid ads, for faster results.

don't get discouraged if you lose money and sales are non-existent.
learn from it and spend more to gain experience. then optimize and adapt.

I was able to sell 100+ copies by promoting it to an existing audience of 15K people on Facebook.

The book was about current affairs, sold on Amazon KDP.

It is not difficult if you know how to build authority for the author.

Thought about it for a Iong time I even tried writing one but i did not actuaIIy complete it, so nah at least for the moment.

I didn't do it before but I am trying to set up to do it in future.

I have sold ebooks on amazon but I guess you are not looking for that.

A long time ago on DP. How did i do it? Forum is geared towards internet marketing, money making. It was easy. I followed the school example. I wrote a short informational, beginner's guide about a working PPD money making method and another one about how to get accepted by CPA networks, both contained affiliate links too (hosting etc.). I provided free review copies to a few reputable members. I increased the price after every x amount of copies sold and limited the number of copies, which can be sold (not really, but for the looks).

I have sold on Amazon via the Kindle Direct Publishing program.

It was very easy to set up. You can even get paid for free reads. It's a good way to get started in the business.

I made about $20 USD to an ebook I wrote in a few hours. I did NOT promote it at all. It was all Amazon traffic.

A small amount back in the day. Adwords + affiliates worked well. I didn't have much luck with email blasts, but I didn't know too much back then.

Depending on your audience, you might want to look into membership courses and/or video courses.

We have sellers in the Marketplace who have these for sale.

@mylastvacation , @thescrrr , @IGKing off the top of my head. They might be able to advise you too.

Used amazon KDP to create an ebook. No promotions and every 6 months do a back link or two.

Since May of 2018 ive made $65 a month average off of it. It’s pretty passive and chill. First 3 months I made $200 each month thanks to amazon algo favoring new releases.

Focus on driving more visitors if the audience doesn't seem sizeable enough. Grab their mails using a newsletter signup & then attempt to sell your e-book.
Best wishes!

whats the CTR (% of visitors who signed) for newsletter sign up on your site? or average?

Go to members download section and use the search function, type KDP, kindle, and there are a few courses available. Also @IGKing has a great thread of how he made 5 figures with a book, very inspiring.

It's all about creating quality content that is relevant to your audience. There's plenty of ebooks that cover the same basics and there's no need for more. If you think you add something extra and unique to your audience, then you absolutely should go with it.
