I am looking to differentiate myself in affiliate marketing bc it seems like the only way to get noticed these days. If anyone has any opinions or experiences please share.

There are all kinds of books and journals here, give it a search
yea I know... I am not particularly interested in doing AM through reddit yet. I was looking to get some word of mouth but its mostly been crickets. I have a few ways I can get creative and be different, maybe Ill give it a go.

Yes. Just age your accs get karma first. That helped a lot

What was your strategy? I have 2 high karma accounts that are less than a year old... I am trying to create open conversation of success or failure stories.

I have worked with Reddit over 1 year, my suggestion is that don't do it, just do SEO or other long term project

seems no one spends $$ on reddit and if they do, tightly wound.

Yeah for CPA it can bring some traffic, its kind of affiliate marketing too

This seems to be a general consensus across the board. A few success stories but overall feedback is that Reddit is kind of a dead end or takes a verrrry long time. Reddit users are more interested in free content and free product so conversions from Reddit traffic are not always the best

Im on reddit market since 2015 and i have big sucess there, my advice is post quality content, few posts with quality content or no spamming ones is better than 1000 spam posts, try to keep under radar

I spent some paid ads campaign including free giveaway offers...all my efforts failed miserably @reddit ....I suppose I should use organic approach !! But the prob ...is the subreddit admin do not allow any promotion...even I talked with subreddit admin directly with some affiliate comission twist, but they denied my proposal!! I think I need to spend more affront @fb for ads and Google for SEOs.

I have years of success doing affiliate marketing on reddit. Many thousands of dollars made from Amazon and Adult Webcam affiliate programs. People on reddit are normal people who spend money. They don't like being sold to, but they are easy enough to trick with practice.

Amazon is wonderful because if you can get them to click your affiliate link, anything they buy counts as a sale for you. Be aware of Amazon's policies though, sometimes they come asking you about your links when you blast them on reddit too much.

Spam filters won't allow you to share your affiliate links directly to 99.9% of subreddits though so you either have to set up your own subreddit, ask the mods to manually approve it (no chance), or use some black hat methods.

During my keyword research tasks I have noticed that some phrases like "best xxx Reddit" do have some organic search volume. So, if I wanted to do some AM I'd try to create Reddit posts targeting such keywords so that I hit two birds with one stone i.e. get Redditors to read it and also get Google traffic. Of course, you want to keep your content looking and sounding informative rather than a sales-copy.
