Has anyone had any positive effects by using Nootropics?

Micro dose psilocybin mushrooms. It will have much better short and long term cognitive affects.

I've been looking at ways to increase my focus and concentration and came across nootropics on reddit. Seems interesting as a lot of people have had good experiences with it, but im still a bit skeptical.

Can anyone chip in?
I had luck with piracetam (and other similar racetams) and choline during college. It had noticeable positive effects on my cognition.. it helped with memory, ambition, and my language felt more coherent. It made my brain feel more “connected”, especially after long periods of partying and then going back into an university classroom setting.

I did notice the various racetams made me even more irritable than usual. Made me hard to be around if I wasn’t being productive or doing my own thing.

With that being said, I've recently been considering ordering some capsules to help with motivation and help deal with brain fog.

I have been taking magnesium + L-Theanine + Gingko Biloba, three diff pills right after waking up. Not super notable changes but feeling good overall.

Make your to research the ingredients. I looked into a couple popular ones and they were essentially charging a premium for what amounted to large amounts of caffeine.

taking drugs will waste your time, literally!! you will realize after 3-6 months how much time you have wasted.
I know it's boring but the best way is to make yourself relaxed and stress-free.
I'm not gonna say do meditation because I can't do it either, it's too boring for me.
but you can change your habits, like: eat less for dinner and sleep early and wake up early, this will change everything for you. there is a reason successful people do it, people ignore this because they don't want to follow something that their parents kept telling them to do, but humor me and try it just for 1week.
your focus during the day will triple, and you will reach clarity in your mind. the mood boost you get is also amazing and yes that's that easy.
another habit: stay away from fast food, they provoke your hormones and mess up everything.
it's all about the habits, people don't want to believe it works because it has a small effort and they try to do nothing and gain everything, like earning money...

if you want a solution that doesn't require you to do anything, then yea go with the drug, come back after 6month and read this post again because the drug didn't work or had extreme side effects for you.
but I assure you, even if the drug works you won't be productive and it won't bring you sh!t, it's about your habits after all ...

Since I have ADHD, supplements which help boost dopamine or dopamine precursors, like L-Tyrosine have been helpful. I also had a good effects from this Caffeine / B12 mint for pure energy and focus. Overall, it's not magic, and a lot of it is only really helpful if you're in a positive health space.

I have positive effects and even today, I must say that I take one or two to stay in focus over the course of day
