Has anyone ever used aws lightsail?

Is it really tedious or difficult (I mean speaking about technicalities) to set up a basic wp install on there? And what about price, i've heard despite all their bells and whistles and clever advertising to reel in newbies, aws services are actually quite deer for small-medium sites.

Lightsail sucks. I don't know about the others but low-end machines are heavily throttled. It always makes more sense to use another AIO cloud like Linode, Vultr, or Hetzner than them.
