Has anyone ever gotten their Adwords unbanned?

I have - back in my noob days I was promoting registered trademark domain, got suspended but was given a second chance. Now just playing it safe ;)
 
lol, I got banned on one account and never got it back.

So much for the SEO niche :D
 
I also got my adwords account suspended promoting an affiliate link. This was about 2 years ago but never tried to get it back. I remember it has crossed my mind last week to try and get it back but ... forgot about it. Thanks for reminding me.
 
A friend of mine managed to get his account unsuspended - they have suspended his account due to duplicate content on his own site; his site structure allowed for the same content to appear under different categories, different location, etc. and that didn't make them happy.
 
I am not sure how to unban the account, but if you manage to get your account back, I know a golden rule how to play safe.


1. New VPS with New IP
2. New credit card number and not virtual
3. Address number and zip must be real, street can be whatever.
4. Never access anything except webmail and adwords on VPS, NEVER INSTALL CHROME on VPS.
5. If you have to contact Google only do it on VPS.

Well i have made around 10-15 accounts.All of them got banned one after the other.I was using coupons those days.None of them ever got unbanned.
 
Yes, I've gotten 2 accounts unbanned and they are currently in good standing. I was working for a gold investment company that hired a cheap indian outsourcing company for PPC. The whole thing went downhill after they started backlinking tons of horrible spam websites. Luckily the owner of the gold company was good friends with a google insider who helped him get everything fixed up in a matter of weeks. It's crazy how connections can be so effective.

Seriously I do not believe your statement above. It clearly stated in google that the adwords campaign and organic search are both seperated.
 
yes. one account was banned for "Made for adsense" abertage or whatever they call it. I tried to pay for traffic, and hope to get a good CTR and CPC on the ads displayed on the single page site that ran a JSON feed from a public facebook page that was not even mine. Boy fuck they got mad. I just played dumb and they, in good faith gave me the account back. Only because my campaign was 100$ and I spent way more on legit ads
