Has anyone ever been unfairly checkpointed?

I've been hit by this a few times before, but this time it's especially annoying because I had been running smoothly for nearly a week. Not sure if it's due to my IP, browser, or maybe I’m on a blacklist. If anyone here has managed to avoid checkpoints, please share your tips. Does using a proxy help? Or do I need to fake my fingerprint as well?
