Has anyone ever been busted (by police) before for doing cl cpa? Please share your experience with me, I want to do this but basically need my hand held threw the whole thing, can anyone help me? I read this forum up and down and it didnt help me much. I need step by step instructions on how to carry this out safely, I live in Canda. Sorry if im bugging anyone. Thanks in advance.

First off, you may not get a whole lot of help if you're asking people to hold your hand. It's not a great attitude, and folks on here appreciate people with strong initiative and the right attitude.

RedOctobre, Thanks man but these threads don't really help me much. I need to know if anyone has ever been arrested or charged or taken to court for this method? And I need a walk through of how to securely do this method all the way from making ads to pulling money out of my bank account. Anyone want to be a nice guy and help me here, or through pm? Would be greatly appreciated!
 
scout01I, read this thread, is this the only case out of the whole site? And did anything happen to this guy? Is it cause he used a bot or cause he was leeching cl traffic?

So if I do this method at home to make a couple of bux daily, I don't have to worry about anything? What are the safety precautions I have to take to insure I don't ever get in any type of trouble, if any? Does it even matter? Would it be ok to post some ads from my own p v a acct, with my own ip, reply with a c p a offer in my email to my costumers, potentially make some conversions and pull money out of my bank and claim it all without any legal trouble??

Yes please good sir :) no seriously tho, I could really use the help. Hey at least I already got a method. My only trouble is knowing if I need any security or not.
 
I believe someone else compiled the source code he released and used it for blackhat purposes (scraping emails and phone #s).

You might also want to check with your cpa network to see if they allow cl traffic since most do not. I would assume that you'd first get an official warning from your network or cl, followed by a cease + desist letter and/or ban. Perhaps a lawsuit if you continue after your ban, then police intervention if you do not respond. If you're aiming to make a couple bucks daily, I wouldn't really worry about getting busted, but you should still be careful.
 
Craigslist sues in civil court, not criminal court. And yes it has happened to a few members over the years; CL and their legal team have had spies on BHW in the past (and likely still do) for securing exploits and shaking down members who abuse their service.

As such, CL discussion is not allowed on BHW. You will need to find your information somewhere else.
