Has Anyone Elses Google Maps js API stopped working & Payment being Asked For?

If I am not mistaken, as of July 18th Google charges for every map load if you have integrated google maps to your site even if your map only gets loaded 1 x a month you will still have to pay $7 per month for the minimum load of upto 100,000 loads per month.

Is there a work around ?

No. All you need to do is enable billing.

You get $200 per month in free usage, which is beyond enough.

WOW What A Star THANKS X100

It is a big headache now.
I have google maps plugin for all sites.
Every site has its own Google account.
To enable Billing, I need to enter Credit Card details, which i can't do.

On some sites, i placed screenshot of Location Map.

Is there any alternative ?
