Even when I write on time, my impressions and CTR have been wildly inconsistent over the last few months. I'm not sure if it's changes in audience behavior or algorithm tweaks. Does anyone else notice that the reach of new uploads varies? In what ways are you changing the way you post?

It’s been all over the place lately. Some posts do great, others barely move. I think LinkedIn’s tweaking things again. I’ve been mixing up my posting times, adding more storytelling, and keeping things less polished that’s been getting me better engagement recently.

Same, I am also getting very inconsistent results on my new uploads. :(

I noticed for good

When I used to schedule posts, they got fewer views and impressions, I’m not sure why.

Yes algorithm favors watch time, session duration, and engagement more now. Focus on strong hooks, consistent posting, and video retention to stabilize reach.

Yup algo keeps testing posts differently i started spacing uploads more n watching timing + first hour engagement helps a lot just keep experimenting till u find what sticks again

My shorts have been getting 3 times fewer views for 3 weeks in a row. I noticed this stuff too. I think YouTube is testing something.

yep i’ve seen shifts too. in thread ppl say click-through still matters but watch time & retention are weighted heavier now.

also bigger push for Shorts, more users coming from mobile, fewer from external embeds. if you do long-form adjust or break it into shorter chunks.

The algorithm is probably trying to kill automation. Try uploading manually for a few days and see if scheduling is the issue.

Yes, reach is inconsistent lately algorithm favors high-retention content and trending topics. Posting time matters less; focus on hooks, audience retention, and engagement within the first hour.

Yes, algorithm is unpredictable. Focus on consistent posting, optimizing titles/thumbnails, and engaging viewers in the first 30 seconds. Diversify content formats (shorts + long-form) to stabilize reach.

That makes sense I've heard that LinkedIn has recently been favoring posts with a more personal tone. As you said, I might try including more storytelling.
How frequently do you post these days?

It seems like YouTube is increasingly rewarding early engagement and consistency.

Have you tried SproutGigs? It may help you out. A bit of a shortcut, but it brings good results $$

Indeed, I've also found that lately, polished content doesn't appear to do as well as human experiences. I make an effort to post three or four times a week. What about you? Are some days or periods yielding greater outcomes for you?

Yes, many creators are seeing inconsistent impressions and CTR, likely from recent YouTube algorithm updates favoring watch time, session duration, and audience retention. Posting shorter, higher-retention videos and testing thumbnails/titles frequently helps stabilize reach.

Yeah, it definitely feels different lately. Videos I actually like are showing up less, and random ones keep popping up.

Thank you very much for it! Recently, I hadn't thought about how much watch time and session length would influence impressions. Have you noticed if YouTube is prioritizing videos that are shorter overall or just those that captivate viewers for longer periods of time?

Although I've heard of it, I haven't yet investigated it. For now, I'm attempting to concentrate on developing naturally. Have you personally used it and gotten consistent results?
