I remember looking into this about 2 years ago, I gave up on it because I sort've stumbled across it and had no interest/idea of doing anything IM at the time,

I came across it after downloading market samurai again and thought about giving it a try.

Any one else try the 30 day Challenge by Ed Dale / thoughts on it?

The challenge is to see how quickly you regret giving Ed dale thousands of $$$ for what you can find out on here for nothing.

It's that one:
Code:
http://challenge.co/training/

I think you can do it for free. No need to sign up for things there.

Is the challenge getting to the end of his ebook plastered with affiliate links and rehashed shit?

lol no, it's all free,
He has a huge follower base.
He goes through the basics of seo/keywords/building wp site/ monetizing..
It's one thing a day, but you can do as much as you want.

I can't stand to listen to Ed talk more than 5 minutes with out it getting on my nerves.

Oh it is "free". So I take it the challenge is deleting the constant flow of spam emails once you sign up.

I highly recommend the Challenge (formally called the 30 Day Challenge). It's designed to help you earn your first dollar in 30 days. I took it several years ago. It's where I learned the basics of internet marketing. It's really geared towards newbies. It used to be new each year, but now it's only updated when Ed feels the need to.

Even though I learned enough the first time I took it, I still took it every year because Ed Dale stays on top of what's new in internet marketing. I learned about WordPress, Twitter and Tumblr before they were popular in the internet marketing world. Now, he keeps most of the good stuff for his paid mentorship program.

Edit: So much jadedness on this thread.

Haha I know, must be the effect of spending so much time on a forum based on screwing people over.

I don't think the this forum is based on screwing people. There are many variations of blackhat. I don't do any blackhat stuff, but I like hanging out of this forum. I don't post very often, but there's a lot of great content on this site for those who search, read, and implement it.

For someone new to IM, the Challenge is probably the best overall intro to basic SEO, Marketing, keyword research and simple site builds.

Remember: It's completely free, and it provides a foundation from which you'll be able to start asking the right questions for yourself.
