Has Anyone Bought A FB Page Before?

Hi, has anyone bought a fb page before?
If I contact someone and they agree to sell their page to me is there a method to make sure I receive it properly and don't get screwed over?

Im assuming just paying through PayPal is best.. would I ask them to send me their login details - make myself an admin then remove their admin status?

mmm paypal would probably be the best method.
I have sold a fb page before. Buyer sent me the money, I gave them admin access and they took it over. Was pretty simple.

BUT in saying that you can never be to careful. Not sure if there is like some kind of escrow you could use but at least with paypal you can put in a dispute if they person doesn't give you the page after payment.

I have both bought and sold FB pages. The safest option for both parties is for the owner to add your account as an admin, you send payment, and then just remove them after you send it.

It is of extreme importance to receive the admin rights, send the money and then remove him as an admin. If he gave you his owner account, then you must change the e-mail/password and maybe name/family name. When changing the e-mail, completely remove the previous one. Also, I would recommend using your original and authentic account for an owner of the page or else your 'fake' account might get banned which will result in loosing the page. Having 2-3 Fake account isn't a safety plan, given the fact that if Facebook decides, they will ban all fake accounts connected to that page. This can happen if your page is against their ToS or you have been reported numerous times.

They are listed at ebay as well, you could try to change the country of the ebay site if you don't find any in your country. There are some other smaller marketplaces for fanpages as well but I don't know if they are legit or not...

I have over 100 pages. I have done dealing of facebook pages (buying & selling) with a lot of peoples at here bhw or at other forums.
How i deal with the buyer\seller is through the way we can fix a middleman trusted either mod\jr vip from bhw here and pay fair to middleman for safe deal.
Suppose i am a seller.
We have fixed middleman from bhw.
I have given page admin rights to that middleman. after receiving rights i remove myself from page.
After middleman got the admin rights he will say to transfer funds to buyer for me.
After i confirm the payment. the middleman transfer rights to the buyer. .
At last pay the middleman commission

If anyone has sold groups before let me know.
I dont have the time to admin these anymore.
