Has Anybody Tried Bluesky?

Na, not yet though I see a lot of people moving there from X.

Has anyone tried bluesky? It's a new social media platform with over 19mil users, similar to X (Twitter).

Isn't it said to be invite only?

Lately, a bunch of American celebrities have been announcing their departure from Twitter in favor of BlueSky. I guess that prompted some people to create accounts there. It was even said to be trending on one of the app stores.

You're right except the first part... anybody can open an account now.

I did. Their algo is not really good at this point. But you can basically stuff your posts with keywords and hashtags and it gets visible.

One other thing I noticed is that you can't upload more than 4 images in a single post just like twitter.

Yes, Bluesky is a decentralized social media platform, and many have tried it for its open-source structure and features, though it's still growing and refining its user base.

Signed up for The Admin Bar, Kyle's excited about it - seems like a community focused Twitter

Found this thread because wanted to ask the same question. Considering that Twitter is turning to a bothole (I find this neologizm amusing :D), Bluesky looks like a good and cozy alternative!

It didn't gain momentum in over a year. The good thing is that it has mostly tier-1 traffic.
