Yeah, that’s pretty common. You’re mostly paying for convenience, not strong impact. A few links help, but not enough for that price. Manual outreach usually gives better results.

Tested a few, I can't say they are all bad but it's not what i would search for. It's difficult to get a good one you can work with in the long term

For that kind of budget, you're usually better off hiring a dedicated VA for manual outreach or focused PR. You get unique placements that your competitors can't just buy with a credit card.

Yeah you should’ve expected that buying links from services like Authority Builders rarely moves the needle because they’re predictable, low impact, and don’t build real authority.

Spending 6k on link building without seeing a solid roi is a total nightmare, so I'd say cut your losses and stop burning cash on them. You definitely deserve way better results, so it's time to pivot your strategy to something that actually converts instead of just chasing vanity metrics
Paying that much for link building is a total gamble and usually just burns budget without giving you real organic growth. You're better off ditching those services and putting that cash into high-quality content or outreach that actually aligns with your brand.

Honestly yeah, $6k on link building without seeing the domain metrics, content quality and niche first is a gamble. Authority builders vary wildly in quality and most of them are selling the same recycled PBN links repackaged.
What did you actually get for it, guest posts, niche edits, something else? And did rankings move at all or completely flat?
