I applied to it, and then I was denied. So I applied to it again explaining that even though I don't live in the US, my visitors are mostly based in there (98%+), but yet again they denied me.

And it's rather ridiculous, given that I'm sitting on a gold mine. If these assholes approved me, I'd have walked away with thousands. And even then, I'm underselling it. This was by far, the one thing in Commission Junction that synced absolutely with my audience. It was the best fathomable product for me to promote.

But some GUY at eMusic... some PRICK, keeps rejecting my application. It's infuriating. And I've lost all that potential money.

I just want to know if anyone of you here has ever been accepted by eMusic? And if you were, what did your account look like at the time? Did you have sales? What was your join date? What were your promotional methods? Did you have to contact them personally? How long ago were you accepted?

Please can you provide me this information.

I'm approved and currently run promotions. Their commission is awesome its $6 for every trial signup - my website is moderate no explicit content my site is pretty clean - code is well written and appealing. and no i didn't contact them personally. I was accepted three months ago.

It sucks you can't get approved. What does your site look like? is it clean and appealing?

Wow, you're lucky!

And yeah, my site is pretty neat looking. But it doesn't get the most traffic. I think it looks fine, although it's a little bit empty. My site's about making money online. But I do have an email list that I've been working on for months that's catered to music (that's what I actually wanted to use) and I sent them an email explaining that but they refused.

Black hat tactic: Do you think that if I create a new CJ account and list a fake blog (one that gets more visitors than my site, but doesn't belong to me) they'll accept me? Do you think it'd work? Even if my account is new and doesn't have any sales?

I don't think they will take the bait, since they review your site. You will get a unique tracking code which would be unique to that domain and they see that traffic isn't coming from that domain they will get suspicious. You can give it a try but i don't think it will work.

I think your site may need some work if its a bit empty. Put yourself in their shoes. They probably rejected your application because they don't want their 'name' on the website.

Hmm... that's right. But what if I listed "Email Marketing" as a promotional method in my profile? Wouldn't that work? That way the visitors don't have to come from the fake domain...I could also list the social media promotional method.

But you're right about upping my site. But the thing is that my current site just doesn't allow for regular posts. I'd have to make a new blog (covering a different topic) that allows for that sort of thing.

try to adjust your content or move things around. It would still need to go through the review process. if you really want to be part of their affiliate program.

let me know if you need assistance through PM

Okay, thanks. I'll see what I can do with the site. That or try a different program.
