Has anybody here done a wholesale + subscription model?

Has anybody here ever tried buying wholesale and then selling via a subscription model? I originally wanted to dropship items but after calculating costs I believe buying products wholesale, bundling them, and selling via a quarterly subscription model might be a better approach. Has anybody here tried this?

Reps on site for any shared experiences or if you can convince me this is a dumb idea.

He owns a shit ton of subscription-based business. He actually buys supply/stores it etc.
In every single video he plugs his companies, he is a smart motherfucking dude.

Seems like the sharks weren't interested in his product at all, just his advertising skills and social media clout. But if he made $800k after 2 years on a 1-2 month subscription model thats pretty nuts. I do wonder if he included his youtube revenue in that figure though.

He did not, this is an old ass video, he runs like 3-4 subscription-based companies and making millions. Subscription-based companies are the way to go, trust me.

i like the idea becouse it a monthly income can build on .

what scares me what avilable ..

You should find a profitable product and then scale it. Focus on one method/product first and see how everything works then scale it up. You might be buying tons of items that you think many will buy but you are wrong. Find a product most people will likely to buy

I have a niche in mind which has a lot of replaceable accessories, my idea is to bundle groups of accessories and send them with a nice themed box on a quarterly basis. I plan on making it possible to customize the box contents to the consumers preference if needed. I also like the idea that I will be able to calculate revenue a few months in advance, and also the fact that people forget their subscriptions and might just keep letting it ride due to their laziness lol. kinda like how i've accidentally kept my gym membership for the past 7 months without stepping foot in the gym...

Another option i'm considering is to provide the option to wholesale these accessories in large wuantities to Brick & Mortar shops in the same niche, with a margin for myself of course.
