It took Joe Rogan to hear about this, but apparently we already have a drug that does very well against the COVID virus, but since it was created in the 70s, the patents expired which makes it dirt cheap. There was an argentina frontline worker study that found 237/400 workers who didnt take ivermectin got COVID and 0 out of 788 who took ivermectin got COVID. Literally insane, and its illegal in the US and you pretty much have to sue the hospital to get it.

It was popular in my country and it was in some way "approved", they recommended using it in the early stages so the symptoms will be less fatal, which is true from 4 of my close friends who were using this, they've had only 3-4 days big temperature and that's all, like normal fever.
The thing between US and third world countries is we are testing anything that can decrease the deaths toll. So most of the small countries have more positive results dealing with the pandemic.

Yeah and the physician that was talking about this with Joe Rogan is part of a team of a few elite physicians who actually created the COVID hospital protocols. Pretty nutty shit that the US is gas lighting this thing. Obvious reasons though-- money.

Yes, that's the primary use. Where i live, it's a drug for animals only. Soon to be approved for human use as well.
