If my campaigns were performing well (in bh niche) would they have less chance of getting banned? Do google prefer campaigns that perform? So does that mean an account with performing campaigns would be better?

It doesn't matter. If they want to get your campaign down, they'll do it.

Nevertheless older accounts help. But the fact that your campaigns are performing doesn't matter.

Nope, performance doesn’t protect you from bans at all.
You can be super profitable and still get nuked if you’re in a risky niche or break policy.
What helps more is account trust/history, clean setup, and compliance signals, not ROAS.

No, Google doesn’t care if it’s profitable, policy > performance every time. You can have insane ROAS and still get banned overnight in BH niches. Only thing that helps is aged/trusted accounts + clean behavior, not campaign results.

More or less. You could stay under the radar, yeah. But it's not only about that. It's 50/50.

actually its the opposite man. if a campaign is performing really well and spending a lot of money google's system actually looks at it more closely. when you scale up and the spend goes high it triggers manual reviews or more advanced bot checks because google wants to make sure the "big spenders" are following all the rules.

performing campaigns don't really get a "pass" on bh stuff. if anything they are under more risk because they stand out more. an account with history and some old spent campaigns is definitely better because it has more "trust" than a fresh one but a high roi bh campaign wont save you if the system catches the cloaker or the niche footprint. just keep your winning campaigns separate so if one gets hit you dont lose everything.

its totally 2 thing.
The campaign perform well cause related content, offer and keyword.
the chance to get suspended depend almost on niche and country, sometime it's content too.

Getting shut down has nothing to do with performance
I had a mate here use one of my ads account some time ago
He was getting sales per every 4 clicks

The niche you choose is what determine if you get shut out or not

Google will ban you no matter how big your campaign is. they're a billion dollar company so even if you spent millions this is pennies for them. They have no pity.

Actually no, google only cares about policy and bots, so even a high roi campaign will get banned if they catch your setup.

Nope, performance isn’t a free pass. Google cares about trust/history, clean setup, and policy signals. An aged account with steady behavior usually beats a flashy new one. Keep things tidy, separate risky campaigns, and build credibility before you push hard.

Good performance may keep a campaign under the radar longer, but compliance and account trust matter more than ROI alone.
