So i have a decent desktop computer about a year old. 1TB, 16GB RAM, Windows 10 Pro, 2GB nvidia, AMD FX8350. Not much of a gamer couple hours a week at most, day of defeat, CS: Source. Starcraft from time to time

Yesterday i was gaming, and i started hearing some "electric" zapping noise coming from the tower unit, nothing too loud, very similar to a CPU "thinking" sound but it was electric with slight pop noises. And it sounded like a mini fuse pop and my screen just went black although the computer was still running. I killed it immediately. No visual sight of electricity and no burn smell.
I thought it could be caused by dust so i spent a few hours disassembling the tower and psu, cpu cooler, case fans, gpu card and fan. Cleaned everything, applied fresh thermal paste and put it back together again.
It ran for a good 4-5 hours until it happened again and i killed it. I dont know where the sound is coming from, I dont want to keep taking risks each time i use the PC, any suggestions to what/where this electric sound could be coming from? Cause? New psu?
