Harder to get into amazon affiliate program? anyone?

I recently applied amazon affiliate program but I think it's harder to get accepted. There are few things that I notice:

1. phone verification at the end of the application
2. no auto blog
3. no 3rd blog (e.g. tumblr)

Anyone having the same problem to apply?
