Very true. Just take this simple example - people win lottery right? If you don’t purchase the ticket, would you ever win it? Nopes.

Luck plays a big role. Say, you came to bhw at 4 o clock in the morning, saw a haf thread, and got an awesome client. He paid you 10x more than what you would normally get, and he also gave you recurring projects. That is luck. But still, you had to do the work, as well as be a jr vip in order to be eligible to receive the project/money. That’s giving yourself a chance to be lucky.
