So after 20 years of computing. I am now aware that Apparently Hard drives drive after X years (could be 3-4).
I figured I'd post this here. I thought i was hit by the bitcoin virus. I bought my laptop in 2007. Little did i know Hard drives die and that i was lucky for mine to have lived atleast 12 years.
I have .swf files(500 from a BIG flash site) my macros have scrapped into a gaming website
I have a website FOR making websites.
I have Bleach Online a 2d MMORPG all the artwork (Pixel art) is there.
Those are the 3 most important things. the other shit tho...well. its pretty damn important. A HD with a linage of 2002 (meaning the old files were always backed up).
If you guys have a clue or idea of getting the data back without paying some con man $1000... that would be cool. I've taken apart the front then taken apart the back. ive done everything but get the data back. Ive taken my computer to virus removal like best buy. just to find out they dont know shit. i wasted X money just to bring my computer back to my house myself and remove viruses myself.
Thats why i didnt take the data recovery option as serious as i should have. All i know is this. with the sites i have, affiliate marketing would be easy. i used to think that google adsense and the legit ways were where to go. but thats hella wrong. theres so many aff programs and revshare progs, i wasnt thinking and the websites were finished / moble optimized.
