I have had a membership at BHW for years but rarely post. I must offer my thanks to all the experts I have read success threads and methods from. I just finished reading one about focusing on one thing and sticking with it. Like many people wanting to succeed online, I am guilty of shiny object syndrome. I'd like to change that! I know a little about a lot. I have been studying digital marketing for years but never really got serious about it. I know basic SEO and have had success with it. I can build a basic WP site.
I am retired but my retirement check is a joke, so I will always be working. Right now I blog twice a week for a long-time client and he pays me well, and I also blog once a week and handle the social media page of another. But now I ready to see if I can focus on something that is all mine and will eventually make me enough money that I live comfortably.
I own the following 2 properties, http://smallbusinesspromote.com, with a matching https://twitter.com/promotingurbizand FB, and also http://writetoheal.org, with a FB page. I came here this morning to ask for advice on what to do with these two sites. I am open to any ideas you have to offer and am in for the long haul. Pay no attention to the content, unless you think it will compliment your idea. I can easily change all of it, format, theme, etc. I have made no money with these sites because I haven't tried, and as I said above I get distracted by other things that might look sexier, lol. Small Business Promote has automated content. Bring on the ideas, please!
Even if your idea has nothing to do with these sites, I am open to learning a way to make money. I am at home most of the time and ready to start working as much as is needed and for as many years as it takes to become very comfortable. Who knows? Maybe I will be able to retire at 80?
