Happy 4/20

Reminds me of this very famous and adorable film of 1950s-'60s... The name of this movie: "Shree 420" (means Mr. 420), and is in Hindi language. This famous dialogue says it all as a beacon for generations to come! The hero in the torn clothes and a hat on his head is a straight-forward good man coming to the city (Bombay, now Mumbai) with an educational degree (a big achievement those days) and with a gold medal received for his honesty, and with a dream to get a good job... meets the old but wise(!) beggar (in around the scene @02:40) who says to the hero that "dear brah, if you're in search of an honest job for an honest man, and that can feed you well, then you are in a wrong place... because you won't find a good honest job here, but you will definitely find 420 ways of cheating and making it big for you in this city called Bambaee (Bombay/Mumbai)!"

Warning: The language of this movie and this video is Hindi, so may be most won't understand it, but find a video with English subtitles, and it will be a riot for a while as you watch it!

That makes the hero become a swindler --- some time later ofc and after trying his luck at doing some jobs honestly but getting thrown out of them every time... he then becomes a con-star, a man who cheats and makes millions, a 420 !! And... the story goes mad from there! lol. Very watchable and enjoyable movie. Try to find it (Shree 420, starring Raj Kapoor and Nargis -- they were the most popular lovebirds in those days on and off the screen) with subtitles and I promise you that you will enjoy it! It has some of the most melodious songs, still very popular, ever heard on the Hindi/Indian cinema scenes!

Seriously. Are there any people who don't normally smoke weed then decide on 4/20.... "I'm gonna smoke weed today!" I doubt it.
I think most of you guys smoke everyday right? Which has never made any sense. That would be like me eating a turkey every day of the year then getting excited for thanksgiving.

I do smoke everyday, but only at 4:20AM, and then I stop smoking at 4:21AM. But on 20th April, I smoke the whole day. LOL

I will never understand people like you. Just because something doesn't work for you, it don't mean it's the same for everyone!

It's like some people will go full retard after a few alcoholic drinks, yet others can handle themselves and be somewhat normal.
