Well man TBH I am scared to shift right now. The windows setup I have works flawlessly for me. Plus the budget and space ofcourse. I have pretty good hardware at home. I don't want another one. The good part is that no more setup is needed, and this VM can be copied anywhere, anytime; quickly. I will probably be buying a mac mini later on. First let me get used to it a bit.

Nah, not really. The guys who really virtualized the processors etc, and patched vmware are the true heros; not me. I am just happy that I have a simulator in hand right now.
