What am i doing wrong...i have the main homepage of my site with the main keywords for ecommerce area in it including title, meta and achor text to relevant page. The product pages are optimised for those keywords 100% + more as they are my main sales pages. I want the SE to rank for the product pages.
The problem is that google keeps ranking the homepage which see's the ranking fall. When the correct page is ranking it does quite well but it keps switching. Clearly there is a conflict.
What would be the result if i removed the keywords from the homepage..would it reduce the impact the site has in search? Would it help my main keyword pages rank without conflict?
Basically what are the risks of this?
