So, just been shopping with the wife and as we leave the store
after paying, i see a £10 note on the ground outside the shop,
its windy so i run after it, grab it, and walk back into the shop
and 2 old ladies are being served at a check out,

I walk to the check out and say to the 2 old ladies being served
mind if i hand this over, to the lady serving you, i give over the £10
as it might belong to some some one and thats all they had....

the 2 old ladies look at me and said, honesty, its rare.............
im a Cnt, but an honest Cnt lol .

Nice gesture.

We should always think like that.

An extra $1, $10, or even $50 or $100 is always a welcome addition for anyone.

However, it’s important to remember that the person losing it might be in a much more challenging situation than we are.

As @proxygo put it, it could very well be their last penny.

An honest Cnt would've given something back if they had it in their hand, they wouldn't chase anything to get it back to someone.
Your level of Cntness is in question..

money blowing away in the wind, then picking it up
and handing it in at the store where i found it ?

Exactly, people always have guidance and questions for the others to do it better. If you got that money then it was then yours. It was also like your earned money (maybe with a little less efforts in your opinion) It's your decision how you use it. There could be hundreds of ways according to different opinions. You should do what your heart and emotions find it right at that moment, and feel happy for what you did. If you have kept that money for you then also nothing wrong in my opinion because whatever money we have now, belonged to someone else before, and in future also, will belong to others. So just enjoy what you did. If you given up it for others, then let it make you happy, not concerned.

Roydan made a joke about the fact that you did a nice thing and you might not be the cunt that you say you are. Nothing more, nothing less. It´s ok if you did not get the joke, but he was not saying that you did a bad thing.

i have a certain following in the lounge, you know that roy
so there are times when joke or not its hard to tell.
i retract my remark

You picked up a ten pound note OUTSIDE the store and gave to the store attendant?

Imagine if the 10 pound belonged to a homeless man around the corner and now it probably belongs to some megacorporation.

I’d have just put it in a charity box if there was no such person in site. Ain’t nobody going to be looking rumaging through store cctv files to get someon their tenner back lmao
