So this is just an idea I had a while ago.

Google relies on crawlers and machines, what if there was a search engine where users register and submit links. People can then vote these links 1-5 star ratings. The higher the rated the link is the better the results will be for it.

It would basically be like reddit, but a dedicated search engine if you will.

It could also have pinterest functions to it where users can have a "bookmark" thingy to easily post links to the search engine.

Also webmasters would place a little "pin it" style button on their websites if they want, and the more clicks they get on it the better.

    What do you guys think?

This is just a basic idea of it. I think it'd be cool if someone killed the Google search giant and created something new an innovative.

Your idea is late ~15 years :) That 's the spirit though. Keep trying!

Do you imagine that programmers would be the richest people in the universe?

I mean, imagine creating voting programs or whatsoever (unlimited rankings for any keyword).

This isn't even funny. Google, stay with us :)
