Forget about the Minoxidil and cures. You are just going to prolong the time spent having to deal with loosing it. It's a big commitment having to rub something into your head everyday for the rest of your life, and expensive. And god knows how your particular body will react to it , good or bad.
You're living in a pretty good time for having no hair and a close shaved head. 50 years ago it might be presumed someone was in the military or something if they had a shaved head. That it was shaved for a reason. Now a lot of guys have a close shave balding or not.
It can be difficult when you are young < 30, when barbs and slags from friends about your baldspot or receeding can cut deep. Also you are in the process of loosing it and it is progressivly getting 'worse', the whole thing is a new and unpleasant experience. As you get older you won't mind as much and eventually will be comfortable with it in that you can take a joke in good nature. Just like when you look back now at silly things that you let bother you when you were younger, you will look back on this time with much the same view.
Careful with the hats lol. You can get too used to wearing them. Lads are just going to pull them off your head if you are using it to cover up anyway. Hard to loose them after the winter though (looks in mirror)

Lots of women with bald fathers don't seem to mind as they are used to it. You will find some girls don't like bald heads though.
Forget about wigs unless you are a hipster trying to be ironic or something. Same goes for the combover.
On a plus side - it's easy for quick showers in the morning.
Also I found with the older generation, 70+, people you pass in the street. If you have a full male pattern bald head and grow it out for a couple of weeks, they all start saying hello and smilling a lot more. It's uncanny really. It seems that's that generations cue that you really don't give a fuck.
