Can anyone help me get my fan page back. Lost complete admin rights to the page and getting trivial posts being posted to the page (at the moment that is). Tried to contact facebook countless times to be told that I need to contact the admin of the page etc... Really getting desperate now, we're a charity that support the needy in south asia and really need to gain access to our page.. PLEASE HELP !

Facebook has help page from where you can get back your account or page. The link is at the bottom. I doubt anything can be done from the advice here on this forum. I suggest you to get in touch to the FB via the help pages where they have custom contact form and they do take queries over there.

Those types of emails to facebook rarely get seen at all (if ever) your best bet is to keep posting on the page until you get some kind of response from the new admin and go from there. If all fails, get the page shut down!

As mentioned by many of the members, you probably may not have much luck getting this page back or shut down by Facebook. Something proactive that you can do is to create another page. Use any email lists that you have to contact subscribers and let them know that the old page has been compromised. Change any links you have to that page and replace with the new one. Promote the new page aggressively and hopefully you can regain some or all of your following.
