Hello everyone,

Trying to get some more intel on headers. The information I am reading and receiving is very mixed, to say the least. I was wondering what BHW thinks about headers, how they should be organized, how many there should be, and their actual importance.

I am curious to hear your insights.

Usually your post title is the h1 and the next headline inside the article should be h2. There can be a few h3 under a h2. But these should be in order. Like you should not start an article title with h3 and put h2 inside the content.

Example:
H1 article headline
- H2 subheading
- H3 minor heading
- H3 another minor heading
- H3 third minor heading
- H2 a new sub heading
- H2 more subheading

Noe headings are not that much important as it used to be few years ago. Focus on link building more.

H1: Your post's head honcho is the H1 tag, which contains the target keywords. This is the immediate impression that readers get of your post when they find it in a search engine.

H2: Use H2 tags as the text's subheadings. These can be viewed as the various chapters that make up the entire story.

H3: Your H3 tags should relate to each H2 heading in the same way as your H2 tags. In this manner, you may more correctly classify your content.

H1 to H3 is very important.
It represents the fundamental layout of your content.

Use them naturally, it's good to go.

in terms of SEO? not much.. but in terms of traffic, it will really help much

Lol had to check the date to make sure we're not in the early 2000's.

Headers are very important, from H1 to H4, Google use it as a ranking signal.

BUT don't expect to rank higher just because you added your keywords to your headers.
