Is there any seo benefit of using H tags 3,4,5,6 instead of p for paragraphs on my home page? Thanks in advance!

Use them for subheadings.

Can only see a benefit of using them in sub headings rather than cramming loads of information in them.

Yes it is beneficial however you need to have genuinely well written content so that using h4 and beyond makes sense, otherwise it will just look like some spamy tags.

Ok, so IT IS ok to change P headings into h 3,4,5, or 6 headings? Just to confirm. Just want to do this on my home page. wwwdotctpalmtreesdotcom

If you want to know about the benefits of using headings on the home page specifically, I imagine that you already have them in your content. Most people also don’t have much text on their home page, so they don’t need headings either. However, if you do have an “about us” text or any text that’s longer than 300 words, I would recommend using a subheading or two. Yoast prefers to have each subheading under 300 words, and each paragraph under 150 (preferably even shorter). I don’t think it matters whether you use H3 or 4 since H1 and 2 obviously serve to convey more important information. And I think that H1 and 2 are more important for SEO anyway.

You would not change your paragraphs into headings. Instead, you would write an article where you have subheadings splitting up articles. For example:
Title H2
Product Pros H3:
Paragraph about pros.
Product Cons H3:
Paragraph about cons.
Conclusion H3
Conclusion here.

You would use even higher levels such as 4-6 if you wanted to separate further such as:
Product Reviews H2
Product in group A H3:
Product 1 H4:
Paragraph 1
Product 2 H4:
Paragraph 2

And so on. H tags are basically titles or separators. Not a replacement for paragraphs.

heading is heading , as long as you use a heading tag .

there no prority in the h tag number rubish seo talk

my opinion

it about optimizing the heading not the size order

we still use css to format the size and style .

<h5>seo shit talk</h5> << this ant no diffrent to this ,
<h1>seo shit talk <<<< just a heading with a size diffrence

if there was a prority over the size of a h1 tag , and it order , we wouldn't be allowed to use css on the tag .

now how you format the words in between the tag is a diffrent STORY

No. Everything has its purpose. Use headings where appropriate, don't try to game the system with such silly ways
